On March 13, 2020, ONCE Somerville closed its doors because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we realized that it would be months before reopening, we began to brainstorm how we could continue to provide live  music to people at home. The ONCE Virtual Venue (OVV) was born in May. The streaming platform produced 4 to 6 shows a week, hosting artists from all over the country. 
ONCE Somerville was an established haunt in the New England music scene. I was charged with transforming their recognizable identity to support their new virtual home. In addition to assisting the Operations Manager, I developed a visual brand and promotional assets for the brand. We were serious about the music, leaving room for fun and spunk in the visual identity. 
ONCE Virtual Venue was awarded Live Stream of the Year at the 2020 Boston Music Awards.
